Do you offer installation?

Yes! This is our specialty! We supply the sod, prepare the soil, and execute a quality installation.

Can I just purchase the sod without installation?

Yes! We deliver sod, fresh cut from the farm directly to homeowners and commercial contractors. Please ensure the order is 3 pallets or more and place your order directly online here. Please consider allowing us to install it as well!

Do you guarantee you sod?

We do guarantee the sod will arrive fresh cut from the farm. If there any issues upon delivery please contact us immediately. There is no guarantee or warranty expressed or implied for ongoing survival of sod for conditions beyond our control. Please see our full terms & conditions here.

How many square feet does a pallet of sod cover?

Most pallets will cover 504 sq. ft. however, some sod varieties will have 450 sq. ft.. This difference is mainly in regards to the weight and thickness of different types of sod.

How many pallets fit on a truck?

Our trucks haul up to 20 pallets per truck however when ground conditions are wet we can sometimes only haul 15-18.

How soon do I have to place my order?

Our lead time for sod supply & installation is typically 5 – 12 days from the time of your first contact to the actual job completion. During our busiest times of the year this can extend to around 14 – 16 days. If you are just purchasing the sod and having it delivered our typical lead time is 3-5 days.

Do you have a minimum pallet amount?

We only require an order of 1 pallet for our sod supply & installation service. We require a 3 pallet order for just the sod supplied & delivered.

How does the actual delivery process work?

Sod supply & installations are coordinated by your project manager for ideal placement for our installation crew. Sod supplied only without installation will be dropped at your request as long as the drop area is accessible by a large forklift carried on the back of the sod truck. Once we enter your property we are not responsible for any damage but we will do our best to ensure your installation is as flawless as possible.

Can I pick up my sod at your location?

We currently do not have a pick-up location in Metro- Atlanta. The sod cut from the farm goes straight to our customers!

What grass is best for my yard?

This answer will be very specific to your exact conditions. Without a doubt, this is what separates us from our competitors. When we visit your property, our experience is invaluable in determining what is the absolute best solution for your unique goal. Many companies just recommend the newest fad or what you may think is best but it is imperative proper observations are made by an industry expert to help lead you in the right direction.

Is it ok to install sod in the winter?

Yes! Fescue is the most ideal grass type to plant during the winter months but also Bermuda and Zoysia can be planted in most situations with minimal risk.

When is the best time to install? The worst?

This always depends on the time of grass and what current weather patterns we are in. Instead of going on set times it is best to speak with local experts in your area and discuss current trends in the industry. We are available to discuss this with you at any time!

How long does it take you to install my sod?

95 percent of all residential sod installations are completed in one working day! Larger jobs may take two or three. Commercial jobs can take anywhere from one day to several weeks. Typically, we are able to install 15,000 square feet per day.

How long does the sod take to root up?

We often see rooting within the first week but can take up to 3 – 4 weeks depending on site and weather conditions.
